Cap & Trade By Aus Hoo Currently the President is talking about and proposing a Cap & Trade. I just wanted to quickly put that into perspective. If his plan were to pass that means the U.S. would need to come up with $600 Billion. If we were to break that down by population, a state like Utah would need to contribute $3 billion. Larger states would have to contribute a ton more and smaller ones not as much. Any way, back to our example. If Utah has to contribute $3 billion, this would mean each man, women and child would have to come up with $1,100 each year. WHAT? I don't have an extra $1,100 and I don't think a lot of Americans have $1,100. I wonder if its time for people to start looking up there representatives and telling them to NOT support the Presidents Cap and Trade idea.
