A surprising sore throat drug By Aus Hoop Recently I got a horrible sore throat. I would wake up in the middle of the night from swallowing in intense pain. I couldn't believe how bad it was. I started missing work because it was so bad. So I decided to visit the doctor. To my surprise the doctor prescribed Claritin. I thought he was crazy. "It's a sore throat not allergies", I thought to myself. Since I'm not a doctor I decided to try it any way. And it worked. The next day the pain was gone. I took it for the following 5 days and the sore throat hasn't been back. The doctor said my sore throat was caused by nasal drip. The Claritin cleaned up the nasal drip and I was healed. I highly recommend Claritin now to anyone with a runny nose and a bad sore throat.
